From the series "Boundaries Revealed"

Growing up in Indiana, I went to a country school with lines on the sides of the hallway marking out the boundaries where the children were permitted to walk. This image stays with me. In these paintings I hope the viewer will see that life, and even joy, can occur inside seemingly rigid structures.
